One-man band EUPHEMIA RISE has signed with Epictronic a licensing deal for the debut album “Born A Cow”, which is due to release on the 18th of February, 2022. About the album “The album was recorded last summer. The songs are quite short and without elaborate instrumentals. I wanted the songwriting, lyrics and emotion to be paramount. For the sound my major influences were early Muse, Placebo and Suede. The lyrics are mostly about meeting people who turn out to be toxic. When I wrote them I was increasingly upset by people succumbing to quarantine negativity, and it was as if I constantly had to ward off emotional vampires and poisonous persons. Nevertheless, the tone is never negative. I wanted the lyrics to be candid, shameless and dark, but in a way that would make people feel good about themselves, and provide comfort and self-acceptance.” READ MORE
